A veteran of the apartment business with over 50 years of experience, Ephry has developed, purchased, and operated more than 30,000 apartments across North America. His experience across every cycle of the real estate market gives him a unique vantage point, and he guides the team with wisdom that ensures decisions are made with proper respect to historical data.
A veteran of investment banking and equity placement, James has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and CIBC, and most recently served as President of Intercap, a merchant bank backing growth companies. He has personally invested in more than 20 properties with Brass and its predecessors, and his international connections are instrumental to the firm's growth.
A graduate of Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, Sorelle's connections with world-class business leaders and fund managers have sourced the capital behind a substantial portfolio of real estate acquisitions. Her ability to close deals swiftly and navigate carefully through complexity establishes her as a noteworthy CEO in her field.
Boruch leads a select financial team of superlative analysts and accountants. With a proven record of turning disciplined underwriting into realized profits, he drives continued gains across property operations and investor returns.
Aryeh spearheads the company's acquisitions and dispositions and oversees operations, formulating and implementing business plans for company assets. He analyzes micro and macro markets to determine the most profitable time to buy and sell, directs the transaction team in sourcing opportunities and investor communication, and oversees due diligence and business-plan development for each property.
Jeff brings a combined 20 years of experience in both public and private industry accounting. As a controller for an international airline he handled financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and staff management. At Brass he is responsible for the review of financial statements, trust-account reconciliations for new acquisitions, and day-to-day accounting functions.
Robert puts decades of financial experience to work providing leadership for the accounting team, overseeing dozens of accounts and corporations. He guides cost budgeting, monitoring and controlling, navigates the complexities of cash flow, and consolidates quarterly data for reporting to our syndications. His background spans due diligence, M&A, and corporate strategic planning.
Gail oversees the firm's legal affairs and outside counsel, providing strategic advice to the executive team and managing information flow. She supports fundraising, investor relations, and corporate governance and compliance. She holds an Hons. B.A., cum laude, from York University and a J.D. from Windsor Law School.
